I have been in the field of Graphic Design for 9 years now, but have been working in general for 13 years. Starting a part-time job younger than most has taught me responsibility, and the importance of earning a dollar. Throughout my years in the work force, it has developed my communication, and organization skills.

I believe you should always put 110% in everything you do.

Windsor Chapel Funeral Homes Ltd., Graphic Designer

July 2011 - present

A month after graduating, I was extremely lucky that a position for Graphic Designer came available at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home Ltd.
We work with an array of different medias, from CC programs, video programs, book making programs, and much more. Throughout my time here, I have been able to expand my design skills, team work and communication skills. Between working on printing for our families, to advertising, to helping out the community, I'm proud to call myself a Graphic Designer at Windsor Chapel.

Caesars Windsor (Intern),  Graphic Designer

March 2011 - May 2011

I was incredibly excited to be able to do my internship at such a large world renowned company. During my 2 month internship I was able to work well with staff, including other departments and companies. We had to meet tight deadlines, and worked well under pressure. My time at Caesars enhanced my design skills, and I was able to see how a corporate keeps their design identity the same across the board.

River Town Times, Graphic Designer

September 2007 (Co-op student) • February 2008 - August 2008 • May 2010 - December 2010

I first started at River Town Times as a co-op student. During my time there I discovered that this is what I have a passion for. Once my semester was done, they offered me a position there as Graphic Designer covering a maternity leave. I was able to learn new production applications quickly, and managed well under pressure when having to meet press on time. During that year, I applied to College and was accepted, and unfortunately was not able to work there starting September. Near the end of College, I started back at River Town Times to help out for the summer again. When our secretary would go on vacation, I would cover her position as well as answering phones, and take ad information. Within my time there, it taught me a lot, and furthered my creativity with ad designs.
